Rather than waiting until an election year to talk about public safety, leadership, and reform, I’ve chosen a different approach.
Over the next two years, I will be releasing a structured series of Monthly Sheriff’s Briefings and City Action Plans for communities across Palm Beach County. This plan is designed to be deliberate, transparent, and sustainable—both for the public and for the long term health of the Sheriff’s Office.
This is not about flooding people with messages or reacting to headlines. It is about building a clear public record of how I think, how I lead, and how I would approach the responsibilities of Sheriff.
Each month, I will release one Sheriff’s Briefing focused on a specific public safety or organizational topic. These briefings are written from the perspective of leadership, not politics.
The purpose of the briefings is to:
Topics will include areas such as patrol staffing, training readiness, leadership accountability, deputy wellness, traffic enforcement, transparency, and organizational structure.
These briefings are intentionally paced—one per month—so the conversation remains thoughtful, accessible, and meaningful. Leadership should be steady and predictable, not overwhelming or reactive.
Alongside each monthly briefing, I will also release one City Action Plan.
City Action Plans are community-focused and practical. Each plan looks at a specific city or area of Palm Beach County and addresses common quality-of-life and public safety concerns residents experience in their day-to-day lives.
Each City Action Plan will:
These plans are not criticisms of any city or its residents. They are meant to acknowledge concerns, explain how policing decisions affect outcomes, and demonstrate how leadership at the Sheriff level can better align resources with community needs.
City Action Plans are written in a clear, conversational tone so residents can easily understand how decisions made inside the Sheriff’s Office affect what they see outside their front door.
Leadership does not begin in an election year.
By laying out this two-year plan, I am committing to:
This timeline allows the public to see patterns, priorities, and judgment over time. It allows me to listen, adjust, and engage without rushing or sensationalizing complex issues.
Most importantly, it reflects how I believe a Sheriff should operate—calmly, deliberately, and with accountability.
You can expect:
Some months will also include brief follow-ups or simplified explanations to help translate these topics into plain language for residents who want a quick overview.
This effort is about building trust through consistency and showing, over time, what leadership looks like in practice.
This campaign is not about moments or slogans. It is about demonstrating readiness long before it is required.
By the time voters are asked to make a decision, there should already be a clear record of how I approach leadership, public safety, and responsibility. That is the purpose of this two-year plan—and that is the standard I am holding myself to.
